Conquering consequences
Consequences can be one of the most challenging aspects of parenting. Ultimately, we want our kids to learn and demonstrate the better behaviors, but how do we get them from there to here? At Child Insight, we’re helping parents to better understand where their child’s tough behaviors come from, and how to respond with a plan they believe in. When we’re prepared in tough situations, we can be proud of our parenting. Moreover, children become more confident in healthy responses and behaviors too. Here’s to building strong little humans and happier, healthier families.

Big Feelings at drop-off: A parent’s guide to school anxiety
Kids face tough challenges when they’re at school. Sometimes we have the kid that refuses to leave us. Sometimes we have the kid that refuses to get out of bed. Sometimes we have the kid that comes home with a bucket full of worries and woes and difficult anxieties. Maybe your child is turning up with stomach aches and headaches and other ailments you don’t normally see. It’s hard to know how to support our kids in these spaces, and if we’re honest, they create emotions inside of us too.
